Everyone wants to succeed in this competitive life and try their level best to achieve their desired goals

But they are not able to get their desired goals due to some reasons. The reasons behind it are only one and that is, not writing their desired goals. 

Some people try to write their goals-setting but due to a lack of skill to write they aren't able to adhere to it permanently and they give up.

So, you can follow the mentioned below method of goal writing systematically for your "Short, Middle; and Long" GOAL SETTING

Let us start with the writing method of "Short Term Goal":

As we know that everyone wants to set four types of goals in their life such as:

[2] Professionally
[3] Financially
[4] Others

As I told you one biggest problem is your habits of not writing brief details about what you want to do in life

And this is the biggest lack of life. This goal setting helps you to remind all those things which you are not able to generate from your mind due to a busy life.

We all are enthused to do creative things but after two-three days of time of starting it we then again come to our daily original routine and forget that creative thing. 

For example; if you watch someone with healthy health then your mind starts thinking to make this type of health and you also start to do exercise to get this type of health and after two-three days your enthusiasm becomes starts to be low. WHY?

The only reason behind it is, your mind is just starting to think about it. But for that, you did not set your mind about what you want to do to get these types of health

By writing heartily your mindset will click the perfect picture of it and as per detail observations, your mind concentrates and start to remind you on daily basis.

[2] Goal Setting - Professionally

The second example is like that: How much money do you want to earn per annum? Write your perfect and accurate figure and start writing the sources work from where you want to fulfill your targeted money. 
Either some works you already doing, or some works you wanted to start or will start, etc. To fulfill your target you have to make a plan accordingly, write all things with the required time and check whether you are on the right track or not. 

Means you will have to check it, how? : 

(1) Make a Plan for it 

(2) Do follow it 

(3) Check it 

(4) Take action for it. 

Likewise, you can make whatever your goals are related to finance.

You can see an example of it in the following slide. This is only one example for your better understanding and like this, you can write to another desired goal that you want to achieve. This will help you to fulfill all, details to target your goal.

Likewise, the second example is that: If you like to watch TV then make a goal to watch it at a particular time and how much time you want to spare for TV watching is also necessary to write it. 
This means your time scheduling is a necessary tool to do your work.  That must have to mention perfectly and you have to strictly follow it. Keep in mind that this goal-setting you are doing to refresh your mind from other stress.
Keep in mind also that time mentioning is mandatory because you already have written another goal for which you also have to concentrate on it that you already wrote.
